father is 77 today. i would give a big happy birthday here but my papa is without internet. so.

it's a regular curefest over there in my media section. but it's happy cure mostly. well as cure goes anyway. also there's a pretty great mash-up of peter bjorn and john (young folks) and the cure (love cats). young cats. cute. give it a listen. it will stick in your ear for sure.

also i've posted a song from the blow over in the margin. it's jolly. i like it.

there's an obscene sort of cherry by my elbow. i was eating a dish of cherries and came upon this very disfigured example. it's perverted. i should really take a photo. i'll say no more.

xoxo. i was just mulling this over recently. i am of the x=hug and o=kiss school. apparently that's not the dominant one. x looks like arms crossing embracily. o looks like pucker. of course x could also look like pucker. a chaster kiss. dunno. i could assign significance to every letter. g=arm-crooking kiss. n=arm around waist. i=kiss on forehead. d=sharing a lap. etc.

i do like the onomatopoeia of x=kiss and o=hold though.
