saw let the right one in this evening. loved it. it's a new favorite i think. and i'm not a huge fan of vampire films either. i will perhaps elaborate tomorrow. but now i'm going to work on some embroidery.

i shall have to write a little post or something about why it appeals to me. what was it that you didn't like about it? and if you say everything you get a pinch!
it was gross and the vampire was an abomination and a horror and it had a SAD ending as she manipulated the boy into a dangerous situation and then a deadly one and then got him to be her caretaker - did you see the contempt with which she treated his older counterpart at the beginning of the movie? that's what he's going to age into. i thought the hero of the story was the blond bar woman who ends up tied to a hospital bed - she knew to do the decent thing!
